Our visit to Utica Club. I remember loving that day. We were able to watch the bottling process, ride the Utica Club Trolley and then go sample some root beer in a nice bar. I do remember mostly adults there but we made up for the kids that were not!
Swimming at the lake at Chenango and having a picnic. Looks like the Coleman stove was going. Shots of our campsite and that big green tent that we all slept in. Another picnic at the lake with Uncle Warren and Aunt Gert, Patty, Warren and Jimmy. Tom riding on the swing. I’m holding Chris on the swing. That’s Tom precariously squatting on the rock having a snack by the water. Dad’s giving Chris a sip of beer.
A visit to the site of Aunt Peggy’s and Uncle Bob’s new house before it was built. The road was still not paved. (I can’t remember the name of that street in Sayville?) [West Shore Drive in Oakdale –SJA]
More Chenango – Uncle Warren and Warren and Patty at their cabin.
More of the Chenango Valley State Park area. –DAA
On this first video, they are two different camping trips. I have to go back to the original digital files to see how this was organized, but you can see at the beginning of the video, the roof rack is all black. At the end of the video, the roof rack has the “Our Gang” logo on it. I originally thought this video was from 1965, but I’m thinking now it must be 1963.–SJA
